Joziah “DJ Maui” Reyes (MC/DJ)

Joziah “DJ Maui” Reyes was born and raised in Houston, Texas. His father (DJ Sammy) is from Puerto Rican heritage and his mother emigrated from the polynesian island of American Samoan.  Although Joziah is only 19 years old, he has been working and training under his father for the past 11 years. He has been studying music since he was 2 years old and had studied at the “School of Rock” for 4 years in Drums & Percussion.

Joziah was also a student at the “Houston Sound Academy” for 2 years under Music Director “Robert Martinez” and Music Producer “Steve O Valdez” who is actively working with Producer “Manny Fresh.” Steve O has also worked with national artist such as Lil’ Wayne, Rihanna, and Frankie J.  At the Houston Sound Academy, he was a Drum & Percussion student and also studied Music Production and Audio Engineering.

DJ Maui has been trained in the art of beat mixing, music transition, and song selection by his father “DJ Sammy” since he was 8 years old, who continues to mentor Joziah and teach him how to get everyone from the youngest walking member all the way to the grandparents out on the dance floor and entertain them for the entire time of their event.  Joziah has witnessed and has been instilled our companies mission of providing personalized entertainment services that meet and exceeds our clients’ needs and expectations.

Joziah graduated in 2023 from Manvel High School with 4.7 GPA and on the top 14% of his class.  He just finished his first year of college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where he is studying Mechanical Engineering at the Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering.  He enjoys rocking out Frat, Alumni, and Faculty parties on and off campus. (Go Red Raiders!, TTU DJ, DJs in Lubbock, Lubbock DJ)
